So a few weeks ago we found this HOUSE in Dilworth... we named it the Lombardy House, because of the street it is on... It's a 1940s bungalow with a finished attic... it needs a LOT of work and renovation, but it is in our absolute favorite part of Charlotte with super quick access to Freedom Park, Cantina (AHHHHHH!!!), and dozens of other cool places... We looked at the place 3 times, crunched the numbers, went back and forth between thinking it was insanity to even consider buying it (because it is kind of a dump right now...) but we can't stop liking it...
Cory has decided to put an offer on the Lombardy House. It does not mean anything: 85% chances are we are not going to get it because we have to really low ball it... The house is in a horrible state and a ton of work has to be done to it. But the decision has been made - he's going to put an offer on it. We'll see where this goes from here...
